Born in Providence and a LaSalle Academy graduate, Dr. San Antonio received his BS in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, then a MS in Electrical Engineering from MIT, and completed pre-med studies at Harvard University. He received his MD from Washington University in St. Louis and completed his internship and residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Cardiology fellowship was completed at Brooke Army Medical Center. Subspecialty training in Nuclear Cardiology was completed at Johns Hopkins University. He left the army in 1985 with the rank of LTC and began his practice in Warwick, RI. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology and Echocardiography. He is a fellow of The American College Of Cardiology, The American Heart Association and The American College Of Physicians.
